POOL-NET was invited by European Commission DG Growth to participate in the European Cluster Conference, namely in the roundtable discussion on smart Industries & Cluster management excellence.

This initiative represented an opportunity to promote the MATERIALIX Project, share experiences and make contacts to stimulate collaborations with relevant stakeholders to support our project and future initiatives.

The key question is how to effectively use clusters to capitalise upon new technologies and service offerings that drive the digitalisation and industrial transformation trends, where everything is becoming interlinked and smart: factories, machines, autonomous production systems and the actors along the value chains.
